Clearsprings Dental Practice

"I am not a patient of Clear Springs although tried to be. Woke up with a sore gum on Monday 7th assumed bitten something hard. Phoned my Dentist in Romford where used to live and still attend every 6 months and asked if could have a prescription for Antibiotics ? as the discomfort was becoming worse. Told no you have to be seen, As luck would have it had no car in garage for a problem. So unless bothered my daughter to come from Clacton to take me to Romford could not get there, This bought it home to me perhaps ought to have a Dentist here now. So emailed Clear springs, I did receive a very curt phone call saying could not see anyone until the 18th of August. I was not even asked if I was a patient there or not. Their advertisement wording comes over all caring and even if your not a patient we will try to see emergency patients the same day it states. I said to the receptionist I do not need treatment just for a Dentist to look and confirm it is a gum infection and prescribe, Why are they advertising on their website as we are taking on new NHS patients when it appears they are having problems getting people seen as is it? Had to trouble my daughter who took me to Romford to my Dentist in and out in 10 minutes yes gum infection and given prescription, Based on my experience why register with a Dentist when for all they knew I was a regular patient there and yet dismissed me out of hand without even asking me. If that is a caring practice they need to think again and rewrite their advert,"
