ABOUT LOCAL DENTIST - DELPH DENTAL PRACTICE

We would like to welcome you to our practice. Our friendly dental team takes great pride in the quality of our care we provide and will endeavour to make your visit a pleasant one. Our aim is to protect and maintain your oral health through high quality dentistry, accurate and comprehensive diagnosis and highly proficient technical skills.The Practice opened in September 2002 with owners John and Laura, committed to providing the practice with the latest technologies that would enable them to provide up to the minute, quality family dental care in a pleasant environment.We are committed to keeping abreast of current treatment modes and all Delph dentists are UK qualified and regularly attend courses to ensure their knowledge is up to date. We are confident that the treatments, medications and advice we give conform to current guidelines. The GDC Standards for Dental Professionals are adhered to by all Delph dentists - the standards can be accessed at the GDC website (and they can be contacted by calling 0845 222 4141 (UK local rate) or by writing to 37 Wimpole Street, London, W1G 8DQ).If you unhappy with any element of your care, or any part of your experience at the practice, we want to know, so we can improve. We have an in-house complaints procedure, our complaints managers are John Hume-Spry and Amy Booth. A copy of our procedure is on display at our reception, and copies are available on request. If for any reason you are unhappy with how we have dealt with a complaint, then there are 2 bodies you can contact if you are still not happy. For cases involving NHS treatment ,you can contact the local PALS service or the PCT mailto:PCTComplaints@derbyshirecountypct.nhs.uk. For cases involving private treatment ,you can contact the Dental Complaints Service.We encourage preventative techniques – helping you to understand how to maintain a healthy mouth to keep it free from tooth decay and gum disease.
